The students of the PH Weingarten Franziska Schmitteckert, Ann-Katrin Speidel, Katharina Kobert and Anita Gerhart have developed environmental education material especially for Siladen Island, Indonesia.
This involves 3 consecutive environmental education action days.In a playful way, the children learn in the first module what plastic is and in the second what plastic does to people, animals and the environment.
In the third module, the children are shown what we can all do to reduce the amount of plastic in nature. An educational film has also been produced. There is also a printable workbook that connects all the learning units.
