Important studies of our volunteer Marina

We are happy to introduce you to Marina, one of our volunteers. We appreciate very much the work she is doing:

Hi, I am Marina and I am currently writing my master's thesis on a risk analysis of the Precious Plastic Brick that Trash Waste Solutions wants to produce in Siladen. The bricks are to be put through their paces so that they can be used safely later on. With my thesis I would like to examine the safety of the brick with regard to its risks such as material failure, damage to health through outgassing and burning behaviour. I am very lucky and thankful to have the support of two German laboratories and the Ravensburg University of Applied Sciences. The educational part of my Master's thesis is about creating environmental education material for children. The topic is "raise childrens awareness for plastic in the Ocean". This is being done in cooperation with a project working group of the environmental education course at the PH Weingarten. The material contains 4 consecutive learning units and the mascot Yupi the turtle guides the children through the units.
